What to Do
-
Mountain biking
A tour of the island by bike provides one of the most rewarding activities for visitors. The well-paved road of a manageable route of 26 kilometres offers an almost complete view of the Island’s coastline, as well as commanding views of the entire Argosaronic Gulf. Considering the long hours of summer daylight, there is plenty of time to spend the day at the beach and then cycle through the quieter parts of the inner Island.
(Bicycles are available for rent on a daily or weekly basis at affordable price ranges from several Bike stores on the island).

Hiking
Walking along the numerous footpaths of the naturally beautiful island provides an interesting activity for adults and children, while is also a favourite family’s day out. Due to its geographical position within the Argosaronic Gulf, Spetses is in bloom throughout most of the year.

Other things to do during your stay
Day Boat – Visitors can explore the island’s secluded beaches that are difficult to access by road, or cross the strait and discover some of the mainland’s equally beautiful bays, by hiring a boat out for the day. Despite its shade, the water is clean and crystal clear.
Horse-Drawn Carriages – For a more romantic tour, visitors can rent a horse-drawn carriage for the classic route of 5km, passing through the old neighbourhoods, the Old Harbour of Agios Nikolaos and Dapia Harbour. To book a horse-drawn carriage:
Scuba/License – The island gives the opportunity to visitors to experience scuba diving and also get a PADI license from the mainland’s diving school.
Water Sports – Visitors can enjoy the sea though various water sports available, such as waterskiing, wake-boarding, pedalos and windsurfing, as well as tubes! For those wishing to stay on the beach, they can get involved in a game on the professional beach-volley court (in particular beaches).
